aclaira®-SP Units Purify Brackish Water

The aclaira®-SP units are specially designed to meet the drinking water needs of small communities where water quality does not meet the current recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Purifying Brackish Water

These units purify brackish water by removing harmful contaminants such as fluoride and arsenic, and can also remove salt, hardness, and color from the water. Compared to the Aclaira®-P units, the Aclaira®-SP units are more cost-effective for capacities greater than 1 m³/h or when raw water requires more complex pre-treatment (such as surface water).

The units’ capacities range from 20,000 liters per day of clean, potable water with an Aclaira® 11SP12 unit powered by photovoltaics, to 600,000 liters per day with an Aclaira® 11SP24 unit connected to the grid.

As an option, Aclaira® units are equipped with a solar cell system and batteries enabling an autonomous and transient operation at times with no (solar) power or in case of emergency.

As an option, depending on raw water quality, SOAR CCRO systems are designed based on the closed-loop reverse osmosis (CCRO) process from Dupont DesaliTec. This patented process maximizes the conversion rate.
