All Contaminants Are Eliminated
A membrane filtration unit first removes particulate contaminants (turbidity, suspended solids, colloids, microorganisms…), from raw water. It acts as a pretreatment for the downstream low-pressure reverse osmosis unit, which then rejects dissolved contaminants. This combination is particularly effective in producing impeccable-quality drinking water, even when starting with very poor-quality water in terms of microbial and chemical content.
The purified water produced by the Aclaira aclaira® unit can be distributed, with the option to carry the unit onto a mobile platform and supply potable water across the region.
